Day 1

ARRIVE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA: Usually watch this parade on TV? This year come smell the roses with reserved seats to enjoy the parade in all its splendor! Motorcoach to Hartford/Bradley Airport for our flights to Orange County, Southern California. Arrive at the home of the Grand Dame of Parades, the 137th Tournament of Roses Parade. Check in to the Hilton Orange County, your home for 4 nights before a Welcome Dinner at the hotel. D

Day 2

FLOAT DECORATING TOUR WITH LUNCH AND A HOLLYWOOD STUDIO TOUR: After breakfast, all guests will see the finishing touches being put on the Tournament of Roses parade floats before they head down Colorado Blvd. You’ll enjoy a delicious three-course luncheon at the famous Lawry’s The Prime Rib in Beverly Hills followed by a real Hollywood Studio tour. Day 3

CATALINA ISLAND & NEW YEAR'S PARTY: Start your day with a buffet breakfast before heading off to Catalina Island. You’ll board one of the Catalina Express ferries for a short one-hour cruise to the island. The vessels offer both inside and outside seating, as well as a snack bar and restroom facilities onboard for your comfort. You’ll log some 26 miles as you sail along the Pacific ocean over to Catalina Island. Once you arrive, the day is yours to get acquainted with the storybook town of Avalon, which you’ll find is packed with boutiques, restaurants, and things to do! You might want to take a tour of the historic Casino, take a guided tour of Avalon, or rent a golf cart or bicycle to sightsee on your own this afternoon. The evening is filled with elegant dining, dancing, and the fun of a live “Monte Carlo” style casino. There will be hats and party favors, a drawing for exciting prizes and a champagne toast to ring in 2026! B, D

Day 4

137TH TOURNAMENT OF ROSES PARADE: Reserved Ticket to Tournament of Roses Parade. Enjoy an early morning breakfast at the hotel before heading to Pasadena, where you will have reserved premium grandstand seats as you watch the Rose Parade make its way down Colorado Boulevard. A souvenir program and blanket are included. Pasadena, CA After the parade, you'll be treated to a Southern California Style BBQ at the Hilton Orange County/Costa Mesa. The remainder of the afternoon is at your leisure. Movie Night at the Hotel. We're setting up a big screen in the hotel for a fun evening. B, L

Day 5

FLOATFEST & HOMEWARD BOUND: After breakfast, you’ll travel back to Pasadena to see the floats on display at the spectacular “Floatfest” event. Then, you’ll bid farewell to new friends as you depart to the airport to make your way home. Like all journeys, they must come to an end. Transfer to the airport for your return flights home. B

Payment Policy

$500 per person deposit with reservation. Final payment by August 9, 2025.

Cancellation Policy

If a passenger cancels from deposit to August 9, 2025 fee of $300.00 pp; Aug 10, 2025 to Oct 15, 2025 fee of $1,800.00 pp; no refunds if canceled after Oct15, 2025. All cancellation are plus any non-refundable air fees.

Trip Protection Policy

Trip Protection Coverage is strongly recommended. Friendship Tours offers Travel Protection insurance through 2 insurance providers: NTA Travel Protection Plan and Travel Insured International. Trip Protection offers coverage for Cancellation for covered medical reasons, Interruption, Emergency Medical, Travel Delay, & more.

The AON/NTA Travel Protection Plan offers 3 levels of insurance: Basic or Enhanced or Enhanced with Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR). The Pre-existing medical condition exclusion can be waived by purchasing the Enhanced Plan within14 days of your deposit or initial payment. The Enhanced Plan with the add-on of CFAR must be purchased within 14 days of initial deposit. CFAR allows you to cancel for any reason up to 48 priors to departure and reimburses up to 75% of your nonrefundable trip cost.
