Itinerary

Day 1

Experience the magic of New Hampshire’s White Mountains on this one-of-a-kind spring getaway. Begin with a visit to the HERMIT WOODS WINERY for a TOUR, TASTING & CHARCUTERIE. 2 nights at the HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS, Lincoln, NH. This evening it’s all aboard the CAFÉ LAFAYETTE DINNER TRAIN. Escape the ordinary and relive the romance of dining on the rails on a two hour train ride complete with a 5 course dinner aboard restored vintage rail cars.

Day 2

Meet our local guide for a day of touring. We start our morning at the ROCKS ESTATE Christmas tree farm. Take a HORSE DRAWN WAGON tour through the Christmas Tree fields and hear about the farm history and how these trees are grown and sustained. Continue touring through the White Mountains of New Hampshire to see the FIELDS OF LUPINES. Paying homage to the annual blossoming of this captivating wildflower, the Fields of Lupine Blooming is a time-honored regional event. The brilliant spikes of the lupine flower carpet local fields and pastures in a rolling sea of vibrant purples, pinks, blues and whites against the majestic backdrop of the Franconia, Presidential, and Kinsman Mountain ranges. Visit FADDEN’S GENERAL STORE an authentic, old fashioned general store, family-owned since 1896. Return to our hotel this afternoon before dinner at a local restaurant. Following dinner our local Moose Tour Guide and Moose Tour Bus will take us on an EVENING MOOSE TOUR. See these gentle giants in their natural habitat on a 3 hour riding tour. Day 3

This morning we have a leisurely cruise aboard pontoon boats on our SQUAM LAKE CRUISE. Learn about the natural history of the lake, the wildlife that makes Squam so special, and view locations where the movie “On Golden Pond” was filmed over 30 years ago. Watch for Loons, Bald Eagles and other wildlife. Head for home with memories of our magical time in New Hampshire.
