2026 marks the 250th anniversary of our nation's founding, the United States of America's Semiquincentennial. For this milestone occasion Norfolk Virginia's Sail250 will present a fleet of the world's most magnificent international Tall Ships.
Head south to Virginia to celebrate the 250th anniversary of our nation’s founding in 1776. Overnight stay at the HAMPTON INN & SUITES, Arlington, VA. Dinner at a local restaurant tonight.
We continue to Norfolk, VA and will set sail on a relaxing afternoon harbor cruise aboard the HAMPTON QUEEN. Their majestic sails unfurl against the backdrop of Chesapeake Bay, a scene that evokes centuries of maritime tradition. Enjoy lunch before spending time in Norfolk at the SAIL250 FESTIVAL to walk past the docked ships and festive waterfront celebrations.
