Itinerary

Day 1

Head south to Virginia to celebrate the 250th anniversary of our nation’s founding in 1776. Overnight stay at the HAMPTON INN & SUITES, Arlington, VA. Dinner at a local restaurant tonight.

Day 2

We continue to Norfolk, VA and will set sail on a relaxing afternoon harbor cruise aboard the HAMPTON QUEEN. Enjoy a picturesque beauty of Hampton Roads Harbor and learn about one of the busiest ports on the East Coast with over 400 years of history from the founding of Jamestown in 1607 to current Norfolk Naval Base. 2 nights accommodations at the HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS VIRGINIA BEACH OCEANFRONT with private balcony rooms facing the Atlantic Ocean.

Day 3

2026 marks the 250th anniversary of our nation’s founding, the United States of America’s Semiquincentennial. For this milestone occasion, a fleet of the world’s most magnificent international tall ships and military ships, will sail into the port of Virginia as part of Sail250 America. The PARADE OF SAILS is set to be a breathtaking spectacle viewable from FORT MONROE. Take our reserved spots to view over 60 tall ships and naval vessels from around 20 countries sail in formation past Fort Monroe. Their majestic sails unfurl against the backdrop of Chesapeake Bay, a scene that evokes centuries of maritime tradition. Enjoy lunch before spending time in Norfolk at the SAIL250 FESTIVAL to walk past the docked ships and festive waterfront celebrations.

Day 4

This morning depart for Williamsburg, VA. Enjoy a GUIDED WALKING TOUR through COLONIAL WILLIAMSBURG, where our guides share the rich history, architecture, and daily life of 18th-century America as you stroll past restored homes, shops, and government buildings in this living history museum. Overnight stay at the CROWNE PLAZA ANNAPOLIS, MD.

Day 5

Take a GUIDED WALKING TOUR of the UNITED STATES NAVAL ACADEMY in Annapolis and explore its historic grounds, impressive architecture, rich naval traditions and life of midshipmen. Depart for home after celebrating America!
