Day 1

Lakes & Mountains - a perfect combination! Travel to the heart of The Adirondack Mountains, Lake Placid, NY to enjoy scenic beauty and great sightseeing. 2 nights accommodations at the GRAND ADIRONDACK HOTEL. WELCOME DINNER marks our arrival.

Day 2

Experience the Gilded Age in the ADIRONDACKS today. Discover more than 200 years of Adirondack history at the ADIRONDACK MUSEUM. Explore the exhibits, watch a craftsman at work and stroll the gardens. Learn the history of the region and enjoy a LUNCH CRUISE while you go by the wilderness estates of industrial giants. During the Gilded Age of the late 1800s, wealthy tycoons such as Alfred G. Vanderbilt and Andrew Carnegie built wilderness estates and lived luxuriously in the remote wilderness. Marvel at the rustic elegance enjoyed by the Vanderbilt family on our tour of the GREAT CAMP SAGAMORE. View the bark-covered guest buildings, the famous main lodge, dining hall and playhouse where the Vanderbilts entertained their guests. (Please note there is a moderate amount of walking required on this tour and also includes areas of walking over uneven / gravel walkways. Some buildings are not easily accessible to those who cannot navigate stairs). Return to Lake Placid to stroll Main Street for dinner on own.

Day 3

Lake Placid gained international fame as host of the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympic Games. A visit to the OLYMPIC CENTER MUSEUM brings the excitement and history of the Winter Games to life. Explore interactive exhibits, memorabilia, and stories of Olympic athletes who made history on the world stage. Explore LAKE GEORGE VILLAGE for lunch and shopping before we head for home with memories of our trip to the Great Adirondack Mountains.

Payment Policy

DEPOSIT: $250 per person due with reservations; FINAL PAYMENT: August 4, 2026

Cancellation Policy

If a passenger cancels from deposit to August 4, 2026 fee of $100.00 pp; August 5, 2026 to September 22, 2026 fee of $250.00 pp; no refunds if canceled on September 23, 2026 or later unless a substitute is provided.
